Anaesthesia
Our Anaesthesiology Department provides patients with pre-operative care to lessen pain during surgeries, including both difficult open surgeries and less invasive procedures.
General anaesthesia, local anaesthesia, pain management, intensive care medicine, and critical emergency medicine are all provided in cooperation with other departments.
Our specialists simplify the procedure for the patient on the operating table and make it easy for the surgeons to perform.
Different Types of Anesthesia
Local Anaesthesia numbs a discrete area of the body. It may be applied to a tooth that has to be extracted or to a tiny region of skin that needs to be stitched up after a cut. During local anaesthesia, you are awake and conscious.
Regional Anaesthesia is utilized for larger body parts, such as an arm, a leg, or everything below the waist. You can be given sedation, or you might be awake during the process. During childbirth, a Cesarean section (C-section), or small procedures, Regional Anaesthesia may be utilized.
General Anaesthesia affects the entire body. You become immobile and unconscious as a result. It is utilized during critical procedures such as organ transplants, back surgeries, head surgeries, and surgeries on the heart and brain.
