Introduction to Fellowship in Fetal Medicine - Residential Program
The Fellowship in Fetal Medicine at Jeevan Jyoti Hospital is a 12-month full-time, intensive residential program designed to train OB-GYN specialists in the comprehensive care of the fetus. This includes skillful execution of ultrasound procedures, interpretation of fetal conditions, counseling of expectant parents, and supervised exposure to interventional procedures.
Fellows will participate in day-to-day clinical activities within the Fetal Medicine Unit, gaining exposure to a wide range of fetal conditions-from routine screenings to complex fetal anomalies. The structured curriculum aims to equip doctors with FMF (UK)-oriented competencies in fetal scans such as NT Scan (11-13 weeks), Anomaly Scan (18-23 weeks), Cervical Assessment, Fetal Doppler Studies, and basic echocardiography.

Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Basic knowledge of ultrasound imaging preferred
- Full-time residential commitment is mandatory
- Willingness to learn and participate in high-risk pregnancy care and fetal diagnostics
